Social distancing guidance helps us all stay safe from COVID-19, however, monitoring and managing adherence to these protocols has proven to be a difficult, time-consuming and manual process.

Shapes AI’s platform can automatically monitor and manage COVID-safe behaviours on premises in real time. They collaborated with us as part of cohort 2 of our Innovation Accelerator Programme.

Shapes AI’s produced an MVP to calculate and assign a ‘Social Distancing Score’ so TfWRail can understand how well passengers and staff are keeping their distance from one another throughout the day, week or month. It works by analysing camera feeds with cutting-edge computer vision and machine learning algorithms.
