RazorSecure offers a flexible, hybrid network and host-based approach to railway cyber security. Powered by machine learning and designed to protect rolling stock, signalling and infrastructure systems.

They collaborated with Transport for Wales on cohort 2 of the Innovation Accelerator Lab to deploy a solution for a limited basis on-board TfWR trains via an existing integration on the Icomera routers that TfW uses for WiFi connectivity.

Based on the data RazorSecure could collect, they pitched be able to demonstrate the current level of cyber threats on the TfW network. This would inform TfW as to the value of such a solution when deliver of the new digital train fleet commences, and the potential of the asset management tools to save time and money, and provide improved visibility of a broader set of operational systems.
