It’s a new year and the innovation team at Lab by Transport for Wales are keen to push forward with fresh ideas and inspired thinking. That is why we’ve introduced the ‘Cinetig’ programme; a series of interactive sessions designed to tap into knowledge and experience from across our network.

This is your opportunity to learn fresh approaches to problem solving, meet colleagues from other departments, and explore design thinking methodology.

The inaugral session is a two-day internal event that asks the question: ‘How do we make stations a destination?’

We are seeking 30 enthusiastic people from across every department, and seniority level, to create six mixed teams of five. The challenge is to come up with an innovative solution or model that helps to answer the question of how we turn stations into destinations. Find out more details below:

The ’Cinetig’ event will be held across two days, March 1st and 2nd, during office hours, at Transport for Wales HQ. Guided by an expert team of innovation specialists, all teams will have the chance to pitch their final idea to a judging panel, who will award prizes of reward vouchers for the top three ideas.

Speaking about the launch of ‘Cinetig’, Insight and Innovation Manager, Michael Davies, said: “This is a great opportunity for colleagues across TFW to get involved in innovation and to help create new ideas for the future. We have chosen stations, both staffed and unstaffed, as they are our shop window for customers and we really want to see ideas that can help maximise customer and colleague experiences, both now and in the future.”
