The decision has been made to postpone our demo day event due to new guidance being shared by government in relation to the COVID-19 / Corona Virus.

Therefore, demo day will not be taking place on April 1st. Please note that the event has been postponed, not cancelled completely.

It is important that we take the right precautions at this time to ensure we are playing our part in helping to minimise the spreading of the virus and to ensure the health and safety of the public, our employees and all parties we are working with.

Following the latest government guidance, which is;

  • Avoid public gatherings
  • Avoid unnecessary social interactions
  • Work from home where and when possible to do so

It seems only logical that we make the decision to postpone demo day for the original planned date of April 1st.

We are deeply saddened that the event will not go ahead as scheduled. Our priority is the health, safety and wellbeing of everyone involved with the TfWL programme.

Demo day WILL go ahead – at a future date and has been postponed. Not cancelled.

With an increasing amount of uncertainty around conditions linked to COVID-19 and the Corona virus, we are awaiting further guidance and clearance before we are able to determine what date demo day will take place.

We are really sorry to have to break this news to you and want to reassure everyone that the hard work that has been carried out by each of startups will still be showcased as planned (just at a later date).

Please follow us on Twitter, Linkedin and keep checking our website for further updates on the rescheduled date.
